I began to grow my own trees during the Covid-19 shutdown in 2020.

My highschool did not believe in online classes, so without school I had nothing to do.

I worked for a mowing company where I would stop and dig up oak and maple saplings.

I eventually began to grow my own seeds through trial and error.

in the 2020 Derecho we lost 2 large trees and got replacements from Iowa Native Trees and Shrubs.

I worked for Iowa Native Trees and shrubs for 2 summers.

I began to experiment with my own growing methods.

I am currently a Horticulture student at DMACC.
